Sources and method, as stated in the deck

  • A 153-page county records production titled “121 Clay Bird Lane 2014–2026” containing 39 NFIRS (fire incident reporting) records
  • The Briarcliff Manor Fire Department’s NERIS report for the April 14, 2026 fire (see the April–May 2026 records)
  • Records requests, a NYSDEC complaint letter, news coverage and fire department archives
  • 39 records equal 32 distinct incidents: 7 are companion or exposure records for events already counted
  • Unit call signs are documented for 3 of the 24 fires (2014, part of 2024, 2026); NFIRS otherwise records aggregate counts
  • The deck says NFIRS was phased out nationally as of February 2026 and NERIS became mandatory on January 1, 2026, and that the county production shows no completed incident report on file for four of the five 2026 dispatch-coded calls (April 8 twice, May 15, June 27)
  • In the deck’s words: “This is a factual compilation for personal advocacy use, not a legal filing or legal advice — it was not prepared by an attorney.”
