What the addendum changes
The memo describes it as “Bid Error Corrections, New Information and Extended Submission Due Date.” It replaces several pages and adds a new exhibit:
- Revised Information for Bidders (IFB-1R1, IFB-3R1)
- Revised proposal pages (P-2R1, P-3R1)
- Revised Non-Collusive Bidding Certification (NC-1R1)
- Revised Hold Harmless Agreement, page 1
- New Exhibit F: Performance Bond Details
Exhibit F requires the successful bidder, within 10 days of contract award, to furnish a performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each equal to 100% of the contract amount, from a surety acceptable to the Town — or, in place of the bonds, a letter of credit in the same amount from a bank acceptable to the Town, subject to the Town Attorney’s approval.
Scope as stated in the revised bidder information
- Removal of all organic material at the site “by means & methods plan as presented to the Town” over a period of days to be specified by the bidder.
- Bid is per cubic yard, based on a conservative estimate of up to 25,000 cubic yards; volumes above that limit are to be negotiated.
- An alternate proposal (ALT 1) is offered separately: it also has the contractor enter a 10-year agreement with the Town Board to operate the site under stated conditions.
- Before work begins, the contractor must perform an asphalt overlay and curb installation on the existing public portion of Clay Bird Lane, per the plans, under both the main and alternate proposals.
Key dates
- Proposal deadline: Monday, August 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM (local time)
