What the addendum changes
- New Special Notice #2 (SN-2). The project work plan — covering documentation sampling, fluids management, dust control, contaminated soil load-out, material transport, cover system restoration, stormwater management, reporting, tracking and site controls — must be approved by NYSDEC before the project begins. The notice says the plan was being finalized and sent to NYSDEC, and that the approved plan would be given to the contractor so bidders can estimate the work more accurately.
- Revised Information for Bidders (pages IFB-1R2, IFB-2R1, IFB-3R1) and a revised proposal page (P-2R2).
- Additional soil sampling results table added to the proposal.
Scope as stated in the revised bidder information
- Removal and disposal of up to approximately 1,500 cubic yards of commercial material containing C&D debris to a permitted facility.
- Work in the fill area 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM; trucks leaving the site only 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Completion within 30 days of the Town’s authorization to start, extended by however long soil sampling results take to establish a clear margin.
Key dates
- Proposal deadline: Monday, August 31, 2026 at 11:00 AM (local time), Town Clerk’s Office. The memo describes this as no change from the prior due date.
